![]() Hi Shane, I have just recently purchased secondhand some of the blue cornflower casserole dishes and have a couple of questions three of the dishes all have (stamped in blue ink) Corning Ware with the blue flame and cornflower logo on bottom along with Made in Canada for Range Oven & Microwave.sizes and lettering as follows 4 cup P-1-B, 6 cup P-1-1/2-B and 7 cup P-1-3/4-B.I assume these are all Pyroceram and can go on stove top and in freezer? Next, I have a dish that has embossed into the dish itself Corning with the flame and Ware underneath, then “9 in Made in USA” and A-30. ![]() Would love to replace-any help would be greatly appreciated-thank you-my email if anyone may have any ideas thanks I have realized thru this site that the bigger dish is marked under handle 5 (space) A-3-B (space) 3liter (space) 02-also on other handle list corning ware-in looking I also found a very small one listed as corning ware P-43-B 700ml-the 2 things I am interested in is finding a glass lid for the small one (if they even have those) and the above dish that fits into the original one I have left-can you tell me what size that may be-I had gotten a solid white one at a shop that did fit the lid I have left, but it did not fit in the original and that's what I Hey there-I received in 1986 2 pastel bouquet dishes-if I remember right they may have been 2 separate dishes or there is a possibility that they may have come in a 2 dish package (I received these as a wedding gift) ihave had these all these yrs and just recently the smaller one broke-there had been water in the bottom and water had frozen-it was outside (had gotten left outside in error) cleaned it up and all was fine I thought until the next day when it broke right along with bottom seem all the way around the dish-what I'm trying to do is replace it-ive been looking and have found some replacement on ebay and some selling sights but am unsure of what size that will make it sit inside the other without problem-the lid list 19-c on one side andĪ (space) Pyrex (a symbol in a cirle I cannot make out) A 7 C I thought someone might be able to nail down some dates. I'm guessing those were in use from about 1968-71. ![]() I've seen different variations of these both with and without the mention of microwave use. There is also a stamp on my butterscotch buffet dish with both the starburst, and cornflower designs. By that time, the stamp on the bottom was black, with the starburst, but there was no mention of microwave use. Now, my younger sister received her Corning Ware set around 1967. That was a Trefoil & had blue ink, but no model number, no mention of Pyroceram either. ![]() Pieces I added to my "Royal Family" set (10 in skillet with 1qt,1 1/2 & 1 3/4 qt saucepans) included a 2 1/2 saucepan around 1961. So I assume that stamp was used until sometime in 1960. My set, which is stamped "Pyroceram" in blue ink on the bottom, was purchased for me prior to my wedding in June 1959. My closest guess is that Corning began the Cornflower series with the embossed markings from about 1958 through early '59. Quick question though about the markings in the P series.
